Amnesia Helmet in Place?
From an Amazon review of the Buck Rogers 1939 serial:
"...Buck Rogers is here to fight Kane's evil domination of mankind, which involves making obedient robots out of folks by strapping an "amnesia helmet" on their heads."
I just thought this was cool. Make up your own biting political or ecclesiological commentary, apply it to anything you like, but whatever you do, resist the evil Kane in 2007.

Hi Terry, I recall my lovely wife went through a similar predicament, she was just 3 or 4 but it wasn't an amnesia helmet. I believe it was an amnesia icecream bucket, accompanied by amnesia nylon stockings draped around her poor unsuspecting neck. I don't know how she eventually escaped.
to this day she doesn't recall why she regularly wore these items.
someone must have been watching out for her.
